With the new Discovery wireless audio transceiver module from WiSA Technologies (formerly Summit Wireless) you can effortlessly connect to ‘surround sound’ system speakers within the same wireless group.

This compact, ultra-low power, production-ready transceiver module has been developed with low-cost entry-level home cinemas in mind. Speakers connected within the module’s 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi network remain perfectly synchronized in a room of up to 10m2, and the consumer can expect a straightforward, out-of-the-box configuration process.

The Discovery module’s TX Mode transmits up to 4independent 48kHz PCM audio channels with low latency, perfect for home cinema configurations that include surround soundbars and wireless subwoofers. Source-to-speaker latency and low Inter-channel delay between speakers ensure a distortion-free home theatre experience.

RX Mode mates to the amplifier in active speakers and ensures tight speaker to speaker synchronization for up to 2 channels.
