The THAT 7210 is an audio clock cleaner with patented Jitter Elimination Technology - JetPLL. The JetPLL generates a low-jitter master clock (MCLK) from a jittery input word clock (WCLK) and enables high-performance ADCs and DACs to reach their full performance potential. It is intended for clock cleaning only and has no frequency generator.

The part is designed to be program-compatible with the registers for the Cirrus CS 2100 insofar as pro audio applications are concerned. The THAT 7210 delivers base band jitter below 25 ps and wide band jitter below 100 ps. In Compatibility Mode the register set is that of a CS 2100 and in Native Mode registers are a subset of the 7200, since there is no frequency generator here.
