Features
- Ultra Low noise: -134.8dBu @60dB gain - unweighted
- Low THD+N: 0.0003% from 3dB to 30dB gain
- Designed to complement THAT's Digital Controllers
- +29.3dBu max input on +/- 18V supplies
- Small footprint QFN16
The THAT1580 is a high-performance versatile audio preamplifier suitable for microphone preamp, bus summing and industrial measurement applications. What's more it has been designed to work with the THAT's family of digital gain controllers offering a choice of 1dB or 3dB gain steps over a wide gain range.
Operating on maximum of +/- 18V supplies the pre-amplifier accepts pro-audio levels (+29.3dBu) without an input pad. Combine this with just 1nV/rtHz noise at 60dB gain and you have a truely high performance pre-amplifier.
Packaged in 4x4mm QFN16 the THAT1580 takes up very little board space.
