THAT7220M10-U Clock Generator
Sku:
THAT7220M10-U
Features
- Extremely low jitter clocking for high performance digital audio systems
- Baseband jitter: < 25ps RMS
- Jitter attenuation: > 60dB (>100Hz)
- Pin and register compatible with CS2200
- Enhanced JetPLL performance
- Generates MCLK and Frame Sync
- Phase-aligned to the reference
- Repeatable latency
- Fast lock time: less than 1 second
- I2C/SPI Control interface
- PLL lock and other signals assignable to pins
The THAT 7220 generates a low-jitter MCLK from an internal frequency generator without the need for an external clock source. The JetPLL enables high-performance ADCs and DACs to reach their full performance potential.
The part is designed to be program-compatible with the registers for the Cirrus CS 2200 insofar as pro audio applications are concerned. The THAT 7220 delivers base band jitter below 25 ps and wide band jitter below 100 ps. This supports audio signal converters with over 118 dB dynamic range.
In Compatibility Mode the resister set is like the CS 2200 and in Native mode it is the subset of the 7200 since there is no Clock Input to the device.
