The SAM5504 is the lowest costed member of Dream's SAM5000 family, and features four 24-bit DSPs in a compact 64 pin LQFP package.
The DSP is ideally suited to a range of professional but cost sensitive audio processing applications such as digital speaker crossovers, small mixers, effects processing and musical instruments. It comes with USB 2 which can stream multiple audio channels.
The SAM5504 offers a large variety of parallel or low pin count memory interfaces, and like all SAM5000 Integrated Circuits it is built around Dream's optimized 16-bit CPU and a configurable array of hardware accelerated 24-bit DSP cores. With a sophisticated sample buffering system, multi-channel audio DMA and support for a large variety of memory types, the SAM5000 ICs deliver high performance sound synthesis, audio processing and effects generation.
The SAM5504's memory can be configured to provide the interfaces required for a wide range of audio applications, including: digital keyboards and pianos, effect devices, speaker processing and USB audio interfaces.

Orders to European countries are delivered by a tracked courier at a rate of €19.50 (5-7 working days).
Deliveries to the EU will be dispatched from the UK via our distribution hub in the Netherlands. You will receive tracking information direct from our courier company when the goods leave the distribution hub.
Using this method means there is no need for you to clear your goods through customs, and VAT will be charged on your invoice in accordance with EU VAT regulations – If you are VAT registered, VAT is 0% using the Reverse Charge rules. If you are not a VAT registered business, VAT is charged at your country’s standard rate.
