NR301E
Features
- Reducing overall board space with ceramic capacitor
- Adjustable output voltage (VOUT = 1.1 V to 16 V)
- Output On/Off function
- Overcurrent Protection (OCP): Fold-back
The NR301E low drop out linear regulator IC has a maximum output current of 1A, with as low as 0.6V drop out voltage. Output voltage is adjusted by external resistors, although there are fixed voltage versions available. The IC uses the 8 pin surface mount package with exposed thermal pad for better heat dissipation.
The IC has various functions including the Output On/Off Function, the Overcurrent Protection and the Thermal Shutdown, and achieves a linear regulator circuit with few external components.
In addition, the output voltage is stable using a ceramic capacitor which reduces the mounting area compared to using electrolytic capacitors.
