Full Description

This part is one of the most popular transistors used in high fidelity audio amplifiers as it has extremely good linearity, even at high output current. This means the hi-fi output stage will have lower distortion (THD) than similarly rated transistors. Furthermore the high gain variant - Y grade will further reduce distortion when used in circuits applying negative feedback.

The transistors have a wide safe operating area and are very robust with a deserved reputation for high reliability.
